When applying for a property, you can request a background check to help your application stand out. In 2Apply, you have the option to request either a premium or basic background check:
Premium Background Check:
Includes a PDF version of the report, which is automatically attached to your future applications. When requesting a premium check, the information you provide will be shared with Equifax to generate an NTD (National Tenancy Database) check.
Basic Background Check:
A GreenID check or basic background check is a simple digital verification of your identity. This option does not include a physical copy or PDF of the report, but a banner will be added to your account and submitted with all future applications.
How to request:
Choose either a Premium Check or a Basic Check.
Provide your information exactly as it appears on your ID documents. Make sure the information you provide exactly matches your ID documents. Any details entered in the background check section will not update your rental application.
Tick the boxes to accept the terms, then click Continue to Payment.
Note: A background check is optional. You can submit your application with or without a background check. Some agencies do not require background checks, and in certain states or areas, background checks may not be available.
